I’ve always struggled to find a hairdresser I truly clicked with – someone I felt comfortable chatting to, where conversation felt natural and I genuinely loved the cut and colour. Then I met Andrea. As a fellow SEN mum, we instantly had so much in common, which made such a difference. No more awkward small talk – just easy conversation and a really relaxed atmosphere. On top of that, I absolutely love the cuts and colours she does. I’m constantly getting compliments about how great my hair looks and how beautiful the colour is! The Hair Forum itself is such a lovely place too. The massage chairs when you’re having your hair washed are such a treat (especially after a tough week!), and the famous Madley Park cat, Simba – lovingly looked after by Andrea – often pops in for cuddles, which just adds to the friendly, welcoming vibe. I wouldn’t hesitate to highly recommend Andrea at The Hair Forum.

My son and I have been happy visitors for so many years. Lucie, through her kindness, patience and support has been an incredible influence on my son's journey when it comes to having his haircut. When he was very young, this was something very challenging due to his sensory issues. Now, a teen - he finds it really enjoyable, genuinelly loves Lucie and doesn't have any intention going anywhere else. He felt very safe in Lucie's hands while dying his hair in pink! And loved it! I have always loved my whole experience and my haircuts, our conversations but also having a moment to have a cup of tea and decompress. Although this wonderful place is obviously full of skilled stylists & hairdressers, it is so much more than that! It feels so lovely and welcoming, it is an important hub of our neighbourhood & town and we are definitely not going anywhere else! ❤️
